NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR 2021 AWARDS!

It is that time of year again to recognize our colleagues that have gone over and above to support and further the profession of FertilityCare. Please nominate your colleagues in the five AWARD categories below before April 15, 2021. They must meet certain criteria. 

Outstanding Medical Consultant

Must be certified by the AAFCP and a Voting member of the Academy. Has a current medical practice that is FertilityCare only and includes a substantial component of providing services in NaProTECHNOLOGY to patients using an accredited model of FertilityCare. Has made an outstanding contribution to FertilityCare through service, education and/or research in at least one of the following ways:

  • Actively served as a medical director or consultant to an accredited FertilityCare Service Program
  • Served as core faculty for an accredited FertilityCare Program
  • Is the principal investigator of practice-based FertilityCare research that has been published in a recognized professional journal
  • Has given extensive medical support to FertilityCare Practitioners either locally, or long-distance program
  • Has given talks promoting FertilityCare to health professionals
  • Maintains very active involvement in FertilityCare under adverse conditions

Anyone can nominate individuals for this award.

Outstanding FertilityCare Practitioner/Instructor

Individuals recommended for this award must meet the following criteria:

  • Is a Certified FertilityCare Practitioner or Instructor
  • Is a Voting member of the Academy
  • Has a current practice in FertilityCare, i.e. has taught Creighton Model FertilityCare to at least 10 couples in the past year
  • Has made an outstanding contribution to FertilityCare through service, education, and/or research
  • Examples of outstanding contributions are the following:
    • Developed and/or administrates an accredited FertilityCare service program
    • Developed and/or administrates an accredited FertilityCare education program
    • Is the principal investigator of practice based FertilityCare research that has been published in a recognized professional journal
    • Maintains a large FertilityCare practice under adverse conditions

Anyone can nominate individuals for this award.

FertilityCare Professionals of Excellence Award

Purpose: To formally recognize outstanding contributions made by a present or past Voting/Active member in the advancement of FertilityCare through service, education, and/or research. Individuals recommended for this award must:

  • Have been an Active/Voting member of the Academy for 10 or more years
  • Meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • Participated in public speaking, presenting public talks promoting the Creighton Model FertilityCare System
    • Been directly involved in outreach
    • Current or past AAFCP Committee Chairman
    • Current or past AAFCP Board Member
    • May be retired

Anyone can nominate individuals for this award.

Hall of Fame Award

To honor deceased and/or retired persons who have made a major contribution to FertilityCare or NFP and to inform members of the historical background of NFP. Individuals recommended for this award must have made a major impact on the development, promotion, or understanding of NFP by one or more of the following:

  • Developed or refined a major method of NFP
  • Published books or articles on FertilityCare or NFP
  • Conducted and published significant research on FertilityCare or NFP
  • Made a significant contribution to the promotion of FertilityCare or NFP throughout the world
  • Is deceased, or has retired from his/her major professional career for at least five years
  • A Voting member of the Academy

Honorary Award

Purpose: To formally recognize an individual who has made a major impact on the field of FertilityCare or NFP through service, education, and/or research. Individuals recommended for this award must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Make an outstanding contribution to FertilityCare or NFP through national or international service, education, and/or research
  • Served as the principal investigator of practice based FertilityCare
