We’ve put together answers to the top questions we believe to be helpful to our members as they consider registration for this year’s Virtual Annual Meeting.

What is the cost of the virtual meeting?

  • Non-Physician Voting Member $125
  • Physician Voting Member $175
  • Non-Physician Member $150
  • Non-Physician Non-Member $175
  • Physician $200

When is the registration deadline?

Registration closed July 16. Late registration will be allowed July 17-22 for an additional $25. No registrations will be accepted after July 22, 2020.

Do I have to register online?

Online registration is the quickest way to register but anyone can register via postal mail using the printable Registration Form. This may be useful for those registering through their employer.

I already made room reservations at the Clayton Plaza for my stay during the Annual Meeting. Do I need to call the hotel to cancel?

No, the Clayton Plaza has cancelled all AAFCP room reservations that were booked for the Annual Meeting. There is no cancellation penalty or charge.

Can I still receive CME or CEU credits by attending the virtual meeting?

Yes! We are excited to announce that this year’s Virtual Annual Meeting will offer 10 credits for doctors, nurses, and AAFCP members. To receive credit, you will be required to login for each talk and be present during the live Q&A sessions. 

Do I have to be available to watch the whole conference live?

No. Registrants will have access to the prerecorded Annual Meeting talks and features beginning Monday, July 20.

Will recordings of the presentations still be available for purchase? 

Registered attendees will have access to the videos for six months within the virtual platform. Those not attending the conference will be able to purchase the audio downloads through the Academy store after the meeting. 

Is the Sponsor Message Campaign still available? 

Yes, you may still solicit or submit sponsor messages to be included in the digital program book. Check out our Sponsor Message Campaign for details. Please note the deadline has been extended to June 1, 2020.

Will the conference still have exhibitors?

Yes! We have options for virtual Exhibitors and Swag Bag Sponsors. The deadline to participate in this is July 18. 

What about all the work put in by the St. Louis site host and team?

We are so thankful to Joanne Mercer and her team for putting together a great meeting in St. Louis. We are excited to announce Gateway to the Best: Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY will be the 41st Annual Meeting of the AAFCP in 2022. This special gathering will take place in Clayton, MO with Joanne Mercer and her team as the site hosts.

Is the Saturday only registration still available for medical/nursing students and others?

No, due to the revised schedule and virtual format we have eliminated the one-day registration. However, we are pleased to announce that we have full registration scholarships available to nursing and medical students to attend the FULL conference! The application deadline is July 16, 2020.

Will there be a Business Meeting and Elections?

Yes, our Business Meeting will take place in two parts over the course of the Annual Meeting. The Nominating Committee has been working diligently to provide the opportunity of electronic voting prior to and during the Business Meeting. Voting Members may review the candidates and vote by logging into the Member Portal.

Do I have to be registered for the Annual Meeting virtual conference to attend the Business Meeting? 

No, the virtual format will allow all members of the Academy to attend just the Business Meeting portions of the Annual Meeting free of charge. All members will receive an invitation to the Business Meeting as the date approaches.

What about the networking that takes place at the Annual Meetings?

Our virtual platform provides the opportunity for a variety of chat rooms, discussion boards, and even contests for attendees. We have many fun and beneficial ways for our members to interact with one another, and our exhibitors and speakers, during the virtual Annual Meeting.
