Francis Achebe, MD, DFM, CFCMC, CFCP, CFCE
Dr. Francis Achebe is a family physician with over 20 years of private medical practice. He has been a FertilityCare Practitioner, Educator, and Medical Consultant in NaProTECHNOLOGY since 2012. He is the Director of the St. Margarets FertilityCare Practitioner Education Program in Nigeria. He is interested in research and training in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY. Dr. Francis Udoka Achebe is a highly respected and a global expert in NaProTECHNOLOGY (Natural Procreative Technology) and the Creighton Model FertilityCare System. He is based in Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria. He has published research using these concepts, including: “Evaluation of Effects of Artemether + Lumefantrine on Womens Reproductive Cycle” (2017) and “Relationship of Maximum Follicular Size, Age of Woman, and Reproductive Implications in Women Attending a Fertility Clinic in
St. Margaret's Hospital, Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria” (2019). He regularly participates in and lectures at international events, such as the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals Annual Meeting, sharing his expertise in utilizing natural, restorative medicine in clinical practice. He his currently the Chair of the Science and Research Committee of the American Academy of FertilityCare Professional a position he has held since 2022. He is the current Vice President of the FertilityCare Centers of Nigeria (FCCNig). He is also an assistant editor of the prestigious Nigerian Journal of General Practice (NJGP). He is a direct member of WONCA. He is a fellow of the Association of General Practice (FAGP).
He is married and wedded in the Catholic Church, and blessed with children.

K. Diane Daly, RN, CFCP, CFCE
K. Diane Daly is a Co-Developer of the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, first President of the AAFCP, VP for FCCA, VP for FCCI, member of the AAFCP Council for Quality Assurance, and faculty for the Saint Paul VI Institute and other Education Programs. Having retired in 2024 from Mercy FCS and the Archdiocese of St. Louis NFP Office, she continues her passion for serving God through FCS in other roles, such as Boards, consultations, and CrMS continued development. As wife, mother and grandmother, she treasures having more time with family and her amazing husband, Tom, who has supported her and this work for these past 50 years. She enjoys the baseball Cardinals, music, volunteer work, and getting together with family and friends.

Krista Falcone, BS, CFCP, CFCE
Krista lives in Richmond, Indiana with her husband Robbie of 26 years and their and six children, Vincent, Jonah, Elijah, Gwyneth, Violet and Dominic and their 1st grandbaby on the way. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in education and currently teaches 1st grade at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. She has been a huge supporter of NFP methods for years and is incredibly excited to bring the Creighton Model to the Richmond area and beyond. She is a Certified Creighton Practitioner and Educator. For enjoyment, she likes reading, taking part in the local theater programs, running, and, of course, spending time with her husband and children.

Rose Fritzinger
Rose Fritzinger has over 25 years of experience in fundraising management including serving as a public school administrator - raising over $77.5 million in grants and allocations in 19 years with East Allen County Schools - and as a nonprofit hospital foundation's planned giving officer and office of sponsored projects team member - raising more than $16.6 million in six years with Parkview. Rose earned her Master's Degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 2001. Mrs. Fritzinger has held her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential in good standing from 2005 until 2026. She obtained her Certificate in Fundraising Management (CFRM) from IUPUI in 2014. She and her husband, Jim, enjoy being with family and traveling.

Miguel A. Gabian
Founder and President of FERTILITAS, Europe’s leading clinic in NaProTECHNOLOGY, dedicated to restoring the natural fertility of couples struggling to conceive. Previously, he built a 25-year career as a senior executive in American banks such as JPMorgan and Citi. He is now an investor and board member in companies in the financial services, logistics, and bioelectronics sectors, and the promoter of Incarnatus Est, an innovative Catholic educational initiative.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. He speaks Spanish, English, and French fluently. Passionate about education, family, and life issues, he is the happy husband of Belén and father of five. He founded Fertilitas as a concrete response to a deep pro-life calling, inspired by the Theology of the Body courses that his wife persuaded him to attend — an experience that profoundly shaped his understanding of love, marriage, and human fertility.

Jean Golden-Tevald, DO, CFCMC, FCP
Dr. Jean Golden-Tevald has been a family physician for 35 years in New Jersey. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Barnard College, Columbia University, and completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Golden-Tevald completed her Family Medicine residency at Union Hospital in Union, NJ. She is boardcertified in Family Medicine, a Certified FertilityCare Medical Consultant, and certified in Functional Medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Golden-Tevald is passionate about women’s health. After discovering NaProTECHNOLOGY and Functional Medicine, she founded MorningStar Family Health Center, a direct primary care practice focused on developing strong doctor-patient relationships through patient-centered care.

Stephanie Grosvenor, DO, CFCMC
Dr. Stephanie Grosvenor is a board certified OB/GYN and has been in practice for 15 years. Eight years into her practice, she discovered Natural Procreative Technology and started integrating it into her practice. Wanting to be able to help patients even further, she completed the St. John Paul the Great Medical and Surgical Fellowship at the St. Paul VI Institute in 2022. She is currently a gynecologist at Froedtert/Holy Family Hospital, specializing in Natural Procreative Technology, particularly applications in general women’s health, fertility, and perimenopause/menopause care.
She and her family live in Two Rivers, Wisconsin and stay very busy raising their family of 6 children, ranging in ages from 21 years to 3 years. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, trail running, traveling, and trips to the beach.

Rebecca Harpring, BSN, RN, FCP
Rebecca Harpring is a married mother of four living children and two miscarried babies. During the process of burying her miscarried babies, she learned the struggles that women face regarding appropriate burial vessels and burial places. Therefore, she stopped teaching as a CFCP and focused on combining her background as a mother, nurse (RN/BSN) and CFCP to help provide dignified care to miscarried babies and their families through Little Souls Memorial Ornaments™, Miscarriage Supply Totes™, and Little Souls Cemeteries™. Her work in this area, along with the help of her husband and four young children, led to the establishment of the 501c3 nonprofit, Covenant Resources Miscarriage Ministry™ on May 1, 2023. Through Covenant Resources Miscarriage Ministry™, Rebecca is working on getting same day available miscarriage supplies into churches, medical and funeral facilities and any facility that may have contact with a pregnant woman, as well as establishing Little Souls Cemeteries™ across the United States.

Stephen J. Hilgers, MD, JD, CFCMC
Dr. Steve Hilgers is the founder of the Dr. Stephen J. Hilgers - True Health Matters - telemedicine programs - where he works with women and couples in the State of Texas to support their true health, cycle, and fertility utilizing the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY. He is also the founder of Dr Steve Hilgers.com - a website dedicated to providing valuable health-related information to help people obtain a better understanding of their own health.
Dr. Hilgers received his economics degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas; his law degree from the SMU Law School in Dallas, Texas; and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his residency in Ob/Gyn at the Houston Methodist Hospital where he was named the Chief Resident of the Year. Dr. Hilgers completed fellowship training in medical and surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY at the Saint Paul VI Institute in affiliation with the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Hilgers has over a decade of clinical practice experience where, as a previous member of the Houston Methodist Hospital Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, he specialized in gynecology, reproductive medicine, and surgery with a focus on natural, cooperative medicine utilizing NaProTechnology. At Houston Methodist Hospital he served as the Director of the Houston Methodist Reproductive Robotic Surgery Program - specializing in advanced, minimally-invasive, laparoscopic and robotic surgical treatments for pelvic diseases, while focusing on adhesion prevention measures, and fertility-restoration. Dr. Hilgers also held academic appointments with Weill Cornell Medical College, and Texas A&M Medical College. Currently, he is a member of the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals; president of the St. John Paul the Great Society of Procreative Surgeons; teaching faculty for the Saint Paul VI Institute Education Phases in Omaha, Nebraska; board member of FertilityCare Centers of America; and a Certified FertilityCare Medical Consultant. Dr. Hilgers is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the State Bar of Texas.
He currently lives in Houston Texas with his wife Laura, and their five children - Abigail, Anna Claire, Marguerite, Sally, and Stephen.

Susan K. Hilgers, BA, CFCE
Sue Hilgers is a wife, mother, grandmother, Co-Developer of the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, Saint Paul VI Institute Board member, Senior Faculty member of the Saint Paul VI Institute Education Program, President of FertilityCare Centers International (FCCI), Board Member of FertilityCare Centers of America (FCCA), and Chairman of the AAFCP Commission on Mission (COM).

Teresa Hilgers, MD, MS, CFCMC, FCP
Dr. Teresa Hilgers is an OB/GYN at the Saint Paul VI Institute. She was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas for her undergraduate degree. She then ventured to Washington, DC and received her Masters at Georgetown University, then returned to Omaha, where she completed her Medical Degree at Creighton University. For her residency training, she went to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and following that, she completed a Fellowship at the Saint Paul VI Institute in Medical and Surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY. During the week, she sees patients in the clinic, performs surgeries, and delivers babies. She is very involved in the training of the Medical and Surgical Fellows at the Institute. On the weekends, she watches Nebraska football.

Thomas W. Hilgers, MD
Dr. Thomas W. Hilgers is the founder of the Saint Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in Omaha, Nebraska, established in 1985. He is the Director of the Institute’s Academic Programs and its National Center for Women’s Health. A 1969 graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School, he completed OB-GYN training at the Mayo Clinic and elsewhere before serving on the faculties of St. Louis University and Creighton University Schools of Medicine.
Deeply inspired by Pope Paul VI’s 1968 encyclical Humanae Vitae, he began research on natural fertility regulation in 1968 and co-developed the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTechnology. His work offers life-affirming and ethically-aligned medical and surgical treatments for infertility, endometriosis, and reproductive disorders, achieving pregnancy rates higher than conventional IVF. Author of multiple books, Dr. Hilgers continues to advance research linking human fertility science and faith while leading the Institute’s expansion. |

Elizabeth Kauffeld, RN, BSN, CFCE, NE-BC
Elizabeth is a nurse and FertilityCare Educator. She has been involved in FertilityCare work since 2003, living and working in multiple locations across North America. She is a member of the board of directors of FertilityCare Centers of America, the former Chair of the Commission on Certification, and the recipient of the 2016 Practitioner of the Year Award. She is currently the Manager of Mercy Fertility Care Services in St. Louis, Missouri, the Director of their Practitioner Education Program, and the Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Natural Family Planning. She lives in St. Louis with her husband of 27 years and their 4 children. |

Becky Knapp, CFCP, CFCE
Becky Knapp is a Certified FertilityCare Practitioner and Educator. She has served the AAFCP as President, Chairman of the Commission on Certification and current Chairman of the Commission on Accreditation. She is the Program Coordinator of NFP for the Diocese of Wichita and the Responsible Practitioner for Catholic Diocese of Wichita FertilityCare Services and the Education Program Director of FertilityCare Services Catholic Diocese of Wichita Practitioner Education Program. She is married to Rob, celebrating 39 years. They have 5 children and 10 grandchildren with one on the way. She loves her family and teaching FertilityCare!

Joanne Mercer, BS, CFCP, CFCE
Joanne Mercer is a Certified FertilityCare Practitioner and Educator. She is the Responsible FCP for her independent center Amor Verus. She also works at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO as a FCP. She serves as Faculty and Supervisor for both the Natural Choice Education Program and the Mercy Education Program in St. Louis, MO. Prior to working in FertilityCare she worked as an aerospace engineer for Raytheon Missiles. Joanne is the 36th President of the AAFCP. She will be celebrating 25 years of marriage to her husband Steve this August. Together they have 7 children together. This summer and fall they will welcome their first two grandbabies! |

Anne Olek, FNP, CFCE, CFCP
Anne is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Creighton Model FertilityCare Educator and Practitioner. She has been dedicated to teaching the Creighton Model System in Rochester, NY since 2001. Anne is an active member of the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals and has served as their past Vice President for Ethics and Standards and Vice President for Planning and Development. She is also an active board member of the Finger Lakes Guild of the Catholic Medical Association. Anne is passionate about women understanding the beauty of their fertility and being an advocate for their own gynecological health. Anne is married to Christopher, and they have three children and eight grandchildren and one rambunctious Labradoodle, named Fezzik. “A woman’s fertility is not a disease that needs to be suppressed or manipulated but a normal function of the human body that is a window to our whole health and wellbeing”.

Mark and Michelle Overholt
Mark and Michelle Overholt, lifelong joy-filled Catholics, are Executive Directors of One in Christ Marriage, a ministry dedicated to strengthening Catholic marriages through faith and science. For over 15 years, they have integrated the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY into marriage preparation and ongoing formation, equipping couples and medical professionals with ethical, evidence-based solutions for family planning and women’s health. They have presented at 225+ seminars and accompanied thousands of couples, promoting a holistic approach to reproductive health that honors both the dignity of the human person and the sacrament of marriage.
Mark Overholt, MTS, MBA, is a former international business executive with advanced theological training. Michelle Overholt, is a former laboratory automation designer at Roche Diagnostics with an understanding in a variety of Natural Family Planning Methods.

Tina Reichley, MD, CFCMC, FAAFP
Dr. Tina Reichley is board certified in Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University and completed her residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She has worked at Reid Health in Richmond, IN since 1996. She is involved in inpatient and outpatient family medicine and works with the Reid Health Family Medicine Residency program. She has been a certified medical consultation bringing Medical NaProTECHNOLOGY to Richmond since 2020. She has been married to her husband, Dan, for 33 years and they have 4 children and 1 grandson. When she has free time she enjoys spending it with her family and dabbling in some ballroom dancing with her husband.

Theresa Schortgen, MSN, RN, CFCP, CFCE
Theresa Schortgen first served as an Application Reviewer on the Commission on Certification and later on the Academy as Chairman of Awards. She was then elected President of the Academy. After several years serving as a case reviewer for the Commission on Certification, she now serves as Chairman of the Commission on Certification. Theresa began the Educator/Supervisor Program in 2011. During that time, she completed her RN and later earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. In 2018, she established her own Education Program in Huntington, Indiana, the former home of Blessed Solanus Casey, and has since conducted seven programs there. She currently serves on the faculty at SPVI and is honored to have served as faculty in other Education Programs as well.
Theresa and her husband Chris have been blessed with 45 years of marriage. With God’s help, they raised five children and now delight in sharing life with their 27 grandchildren. They especially treasure time spent together during family gatherings. Since Chris’s retirement, Theresa and Chris have been enjoying remodeling their home and traveling together more often to places they never imagined they would see.

Christopher Stroud, MD, CFCMC
Dr. Stroud is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist and a Certified Medical Consultant in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System/NaProTECHNOLOGY. With more than 30 years experience, Dr. Stroud’s practice centers on infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, natural birth, and minimally invasive robotic surgery. In September of 2014 Dr. Stroud left employment within a large hospital health system to establish the Fertility and Midwifery Care Center. Then in the Spring of 2019 Dr. Stroud and his wife Marianne opened the Holy Family Birth Center, the community’s first free-standing birth center. Dr. Stroud and Marianne have five children and six grandchildren. Dr. Stroud travels and speaks extensively on a variety of topics related to fertility care, authentically pro-life medical practice, and the challenges of contemporary independent medical practice. He hosted the award-winning nationally syndicated podcast, “Doctor Doctor,” which was retired in 2023 after 600 episodes. He now hosts two podcasts, “All Things Women’s Health,” and “After the Homily with Father Daniel Schiedt.” Dr. Stroud and his wife Marianne are members of the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and are both active in a variety of community organizations and causes.
